European servers are now available for purchase at the same low price of $2.50/GB! To use this location, select 'Europe' during checkout. If you already have a server with us and would like it transferred to Europe, simply request the move by opening a ticket.

    Test Server IP: eu.shockbyte.com

Not saying it's bad, although I've had a server from ShockByte for a month. It was around 2gb, it worked decently but I wasn't glad that I paid the prices. A good host, it's overused but still pretty cheap.

    Are these shared of VPS?

I went on your test server and opened 5 command prompts and pinged the test server whilst on it, it lagged it for a bit. Not that great of DDoS 'protection'

We don't offer VPS. A command prompt ping is not a DDoS attack and will not cause the server to lag (it will only cause your own connection to lag). You'll find that if you open 5 command prompts and ping any IP, you'll begin to lag on any server you are on, even if you're pinging a different IP.

Switchbladed I have an issue with my port, My server is located in the EU, sometimes when I try to join it forwards me to the shockbyte test server and as the MOTD... anyway you or I can fix this.
(I have a domain also which is part of the problem but its setup right..)

Are you using an SRV record? These are buggy and will sometimes not forward you to the correct port. The only way to fix this issue would be to purchase a Dedicated IP or use a regular A record and include your server port at the end (for example, play.myserver.com:25566).

I am using a SRV record, but I'd rather not buy a dedicated ip at the moment.

It will depend on the size of the server, but for the average factions server, you should be looking at around 2GB RAM (our Sand plan). Everything Kiwi mentioned regarding this is correct. If you find that 2GB is not enough, it's always possible to upgrade if needed.

You seem to be confused. Shockbyte is a shared host meaning nothing is fully dedicated except for RAM.

EDIT: Whoops, check the panel and I see what you mean. We've just run out of stock but this usually doesn't last too long. Should be fixed shortly.

We do not provide trial servers like other members have stated. Instead, we offer all clients a 24-hour "no questions asked" refund. If you're not satisfied, simply submit a ticket before those 24 hours and we'll provide you your money back.
