1.3.1 Do not report members/content for a reason which has already been denied.
1.4 Do not create multiple accounts. Each member is allowed one account.
1.4.1 Do not create another account for support unless requested by staff. Use guest tickets.
1.5 Do not slander or otherwise trash another member, person, or thread.
1.5.1 Do not post derogatory content in which you are not informative and constructive.
1.5.2 Do not publicly criticize unless with accompanying proof in response to an existing thread dedicated to the content or within the reputation system.
1.6 Do not disrespect, harass, hate on, or troll another person or group.
1.6.1 Do not post content whose sole purpose is to degrade or disturb the peace of another member or person.
1.7 Do not impersonate another member, person, or company, or otherwise misrepresent yourself.
1.8 Do not post content which is extremely low in quality, irrelevant, redundant, unnecessary, or meaningless. (e.g: “Looks nice, GLWS”, “Vouch”)
1.8.1 Do not post content to which a reaction could have been substitute, or which was already made apparent.
1.8.2 Do not post content whose only purpose is to bump a thread.
1.8.3 Do not vouch on a product/service thread without clarifying that you have purchased that product/service. User vouches should be done via the reputation system.
1.8.4 Do not post ‘goodbye’ threads, or other content which suggests you will no longer be using the site.
1.9 Do not post content in a language other than English or without an English translation provided within the same message unless consented to and limited to private conversation.
1.10 Do not post content intended to mislead, lure, or startle users.
1.10.1 Do not false advertise, post screamers, promote clickbait, or rickroll.
1.11 Do not post explicit, graphic, or content otherwise inappropriate for our marketplace.
1.12 Do not post content which contains ‘spoilers’ of anticipated content unless contained within a Spoiler BBCode and preceded by a forewarning.
1.13 Do not post content which may impair our users’ ability to navigate the site.
1.13.1 Do not post images which are large in size. Images larger than 1MB may be removed without warning.
1.13.2 Do not post images which are flashy, and or may trigger epileptic seizures.
1.14 Do not post revenue-generating links/codes without clearly disclosing your affiliation and benefits.
1.15 Do not share personal information.
1.15.1 Do not share personal information of another member or person on site.
1.15.2 Do not share personal information of a member of our site off site.
1.15.3 Do not share your MCM account passwords or other login credentials with other members.
1.16 Do not spam or promote spam anywhere on our site.
1.16.1 Do not send users uninvited or unwarranted solicitations.
1.17 Do not attempt to deceive, ignore the instructions of, or otherwise abuse the staff members of this site.
1.18 Do not post threads in the wrong forum/section.
1.19 Do not discuss, link, or promote sites which could be considered to compete with MC-Market.
1.20 Do not promote or link to external sites, servers or services where the hosted content is not in compliance with MC-Market's policies.
1.21 Do not abuse the filtering system.
1.21.1 Do not input false, misleading or outdated information into your content’s data fields.
1.21.2 Do not leave information which has become outdated within your content’s data fields unless the content is deleted or marked as closed.
The following rules apply to the chat and are expected to be followed when utilizing the chat.
2.1 Do not attempt to promote any servers or external websites in chat unless via an MC-Market thread link.
2.1.1 Do not advertise any external websites which are not portfolio/team sites for services currently offered on MC-Market.
2.1.2 Do not link to content on external servers or websites where registration is required in order to view the content.
2.2 Do not attempt to contact staff members for non-chat related staff responsibilities via the chat. Use support tickets/reports.
2.3 Do not flame/flood the chat with personal arguments.
2.4 Do not use more than one message for advertisement purposes within a span of twenty minutes or advertise content which has been advertised within the last twenty minutes.
2.5 Do not advertise products and services which do not have a thread created explicitly for them on MC-Market.
2.6 Do not advertise products and services which you yourself do not own or have the right to redistribute.
Contest and giveaway rules
The following rules apply to contests and giveaways hosted on MC-Market in the “Contests and Giveaways” section.
3.1 Do not fail to announce a winner for your contest/giveaway within the thread prior to its closing date.
3.2 Do not start a contest/giveaway without also specifying a reasonable closing date.
3.3 Do not offer to giveaway any item or service which you do not intend to provide.
3.4 Do not offer to giveaway any item or service which you do not own or have the right to redistribute.
Product and service rules
The following rules apply to the marketing of products and services.
4.1 Do not advertise a product or service on another member’s product/service thread.
4.2 Do not offer/request/promote an item or service you do not intend to provide/pay for.
4.2.1 Do not bid on auctions with an end date unless you are committed to paying. Retractions are allowed at the seller's discretion.
4.3 Do not offer/request/promote anything you do not own or have the right to redistribute.
4.3.1 Do not offer/request/promote any products or services where 50% or more of ownership belongs to a banned member.
4.3.2 Do not offer/request/promote any cracked/stolen content, or content containing personal information.

4.5 Do not ask for vouch copies on a thread unless the author specifically states they're offering them.
The following rules apply to the use of MC-Market's resource system
5.1 Do not submit resources whose download is not and does not function as described.
5.2 Do not attempt to distribute services, external links, or ads via resources. Your download must contain the product.
5.2.1 Do not offer or require external assets/dependencies to your resource without providing a publicly accessible link to it within the resource description.
5.3 Do not miscategorize your resource.
5.4 Do not submit resource files which contain malware, viruses, or any other malicious program or script.
5.4.1 Do not submit resources so low in quality that it could potentially harm any of our members’ hardware/data.
5.5 Do not submit resource updates which do not contain significant improvements, with the intention of bumping.
5.6 Do not include content which you do not have the right to redistribute.

The following rules apply to the use of the reputation system on MC-Market
6.1 Do not give feedback which is not truthful, relevant and informative.
6.1.1 Do not make any claims within your review which you are not also providing conclusive evidence to prove.
6.1.2 Do not include a member's usage of the reputation system within your own review.
6.2 Do not accuse members of scamming without linking a scam report on that member which you have started.
6.3 Do not hint for, suggest, or request feedback to be added onto another member.
6.4 Do not use feedback as a currency, reward, condition, incentive, threat or deterrent.
If you have any doubts about whether or not you are allowed to perform a certain action on MCM, always contact a staff member and request clarification. Just because something may not be listed here in the Guidelines, doesn’t mean it isn’t listed somewhere else.
